Your facts are not correct. Hesbos want the death and destruction of Israel. They do not want peace, they want destruction. We are at war and you have your head in the sand thinking this is just a misunderstanding. The only way that this ends is through military defeat.
As for the civilians, people die in war. Especially when the terrorists would not let the civilians leave. Since the Hesbo's are not in formal military attire, how do you know they were not the ones being killed. There was a photographer who doctored photos and many of the photos coming out of Lebanon were disproved as true. How about when the the same dead child was shown on 3 different points in the same day, with the first 2 being put into an ambulance and the third much later being pulled from the rubble. The terrorists know that a certain number of people, including yourself, will believe their propaganda. You are getting one side of the story and it is very biased.

Absolutely NOT. You have to set an example with Fanaticals whose only goal in life isto eliminate you. And Isreal has said it would "consider" letting prisoners go later on. Remember - Hez started it. Let's see if Hez bothers to do what is required which is:
Disarm Military Force
Stop Firing Rockets into Isreal
Return the two kidnapped soldiers they took when they crossed the border into Isreal.
If that happens, then it was worth it. If not, then don't be surprised if they go back in. And they will have the backing of the UN then because Hez didn't follow the cease fire agreement. Watch...

In a way.
The war wasn't a waste - it did inflict damage upon the asshole Hezbos, and has made the Hezbos responsible for keeping the peace.
Remember, it was the homo Hezbos who started the whole war, committing acts of war.
The reason Israel agreed to it is because they know the Hezbos have no honor, and will violate the agreement. Then they will really devastate Lebanon for their support of Hezbo scum.
The show of force by Israel was necessary - it makes other scumbags think twice about bearding the lion.

I wonder how you would feel if France kidnapped 2 British soldiers, and started firing rockets into Dover? Would you solve the problem amicably?
Maybe we should release all the terrorist suspects that were allegedly about to blow up 10 passenger aircraft. They are entitled to their human rights aren't they?
