How may I get a job as a hitman?

I am just researching the plot for a novel but I would like to be as realistic as possible.

Learn a few languages, Earn a degree, Join the US Army go Green Beret, Keep your eyes and ears open and your mouth shut, SEALS are also offered black jobs but I am partial to the Army.

If you don't wish government service after you ETS Private Military contractors actively seek your skills!

...Just start one. Look in the paper for particular nasty divorce cases, murders, and other stuff where people would want revenge . Call em up anonymously and ask them if they need some help and if they would like to meet and discuss costs. Make a silenced pistol, buy some latex gloves, shave your head and there you are. A hitman.

There are also governement hitmen, called assasins which would probably take a lot of military training, trust, and natural thinking ability to be picked. you would most likely be assasinated yourself if you quit but you would have better equipment and pay.

There are different types of hit men. To be a political hit man, there are likley many openings in both parties, especially at the campaign-for-office level. A corporate hit man has the task of downsizing and/or getting rid of unwanted, troublesome employees. For things more sinister, heck....Craigslist has it all.
