If the girl is in hospital hope that the medics pick up on the circumstances of her injury. I imagine questions will be asked alright but it depends on the answers she chooses to give whether any further action can be taken. She could make up a reason for her injuries . Again it is possible and can only hope that one of the medics can see there is a problem in spite of what she might say and a health worker or social worker speaks to her.
Be there for her as a friend and let her know and believe that you are there. She is bound to be scared whatever she might say.
As to the guy keep away, trying to interfere as a member of the public here could lead you to grief.
Just thinking here ....alternatively a confidential chat with a medic at the hosp is a possible option. Let them call the cops or other agencies.

Report him to the police. If the girl doesn't want to report him you may have a problem but she can have serious problems with her baby. You should call the police and explain the situation before it gets worse. I had a friend who went through the same thing, but by the time I found out it was too late. I did report the bastard but the baby was born dead.
Talk to the girl and explain her risks and talk to her about counseling. It is hard to help someone in this state but if you really care you can do it.

You be the woman here...Stay away from him. You know that you want to beat the crap out of him but that isn't the answer. Hopefully, she contacted the police. Sounds like she could use a really good friend like you about now. Just be her friend that is the best thing you can do!

Call the police back and tell them where he is at this time, If they do nothing about it then call the TV news, they may call the police and threaten to broadcast that they are not doing there job.
Nothing like a little public humiliation to get the police to do there job.

I know that in Oregon at least, if someone calls in a domestic disturbance and the police come out, if someone has been hit, someone will be arrested.
Don't listen to those who say there is nothing you can do. Report it. The victims usually don't. You will probably be saving lives.

there not a lot you can do first how old is she get her to go to the house of Ruth or turn around they are shelters then she can call social services for help as well depending on her age if she minor she may be placed in frosted care you can also tell the police what really going on cause you may really be saving lives you need get the guy locked up sure you may have to testified but if it gets him behind bars who cares then he can't hurt her anymore and he may come after for what he did to her if he hurt who hurt her no telling with guys like this I know I lived with one my brother was like that if he got his own way he was but if he didn't he would hit you and bruised you really bad so now all I can say you stay away from him get her away and testified ageist him to get him in Jail you may need a order from the court so he can't come near you.

Call the police...anonymously. He could cause irreversible damamge to the unborn child. Just be sure she is telling the truth. You dont want to get an innocent man charged with anything

You met her yesterday and you are already in her business? When she goes crawling back to him and tells you she just can't live without him because she loves him soooo much, just try to talk some sense into her head. Believe me you will not be able too. This problem is way over your head.

just try to stay away from him. when the girl gets out of the hospital see if she has any friends or family to stay with if not take her to a shelter for abused women. talk her into pressing charges and getting a protection order
