You do know you are going to get called a Racist ! But Its time to get Brutal - Islam is getting out of control - I do feel sorry for the real religious people who mean no one any harm - but it has bee it has been taking over by Evil people on some kind of Vendetta.

The easy answer would be yes. But, in a paralell universe where Islam doesn't exist, I'm sure that those who would do evil and violence would find some other excuse to blow things up besides Islam. Christianity has had violence done in it's name many times. The Spanish inquisition is the best and most violent example. But, even modern day examples can be found as well. The world will be a safer place if we can weed-out those who are driven to violence in order to get their way, or express their opinion.

The world is only safer without extremist of any organized religion. Many a man, women, and child have been put to death in the name of God from extremist. Islam is a religion of peace and brother hood such as Christianity. Extremist are the ones that feel they need to do Gods work i.e. kill or convert all those who don't feel and think as they do. Islam along with Christianity and Buddhism are peaceful religions so the world wouldn't be safer without any of them.

Ask anybody in New York, Washington DC... hey, just ask anybody who flies often if the world would be safer without Islam.
I'm not saying that all Muslims are terrorists - I'm not even saying that all Muslims believe that the US is "the Great Satan." But it's a simple fact that those who kill in the name of Islam are following in the footsteps of Muhammed, while those who kill in the name of Christianity are going against the teaching of Jesus.

The world would be safer without the psycho nutjob terrorists who claim to follow Islam. It would be safer without Christian extremists, and the KKK. It would also be safer without hunger and disease and poverty. But what are you doing to change those things?
It would be better if the US would quit screwing over other countries for our gain.

I am a nonmuslim Indian but still i think that is not a way to make this world safer, we can make this world safer by terminating these terrorists who kill people on the name of Jehad and also the Selfish people from this world..

The world would be safer if we didn't have airplanes or ships. That way everyone could stay in his own country and fight among themselves.
After reading some of the answers here, I don't think heaven will be very crowded.

(1) Islam is a religion of peace. It still is, even when some people kill in the name of Islam.
(2) Disaffected people who want to kill others would find another way of organising themselves if there were no "jihad". They used to fight in the name of Maoism or Anarchism.
