a guy said that because of your sisters actions your whole family will pay...
my sis was running her mouth to a guy fresh outta jail (for assult) and he told me b/c of her actions my mom,dad,and nephew are in jeopardy since she lives w/ them...
what should i do? should i start more drama by calling the cops or should i just see if it blows over...

I'd let someone in authority know such as the police so that you are covered.

in a situation like this you cant be to sure of what to do.
but the best way is to just tell your family what the guy said so they will not be caught by suprise and let it blow over till something happens. at least your family will be aware of his intentions and will be better off. if you call the police they really cant do anything because its your word against his and he did not do anything yet. but he will be told that you went to the police and that might make him a little more arroused. so just play it cool

let the cops know and get an order of protection for your family and tell your sis to keep her mouth shut because it's going to get people hurt one day.

Make a statement at the police station cause that could be used as prove in a future trial if anything happens

a threat is a treat. If it were my family, I would report it. If hes fresh out of jail, that means hes on parole. Any violation puts you right back in jail.

tell ur family so they are warned then call the cops, get the lil idiot sent back inside and while ur at it put some tape over ur sister mouth!

Unfortunately you haven't given us any details as to what your foolish sister did, however I would go and see the guy and try to talk to him, then make your sister go to his place and apologise to him. I would try to refrain from notifying the police, unless of course all else fails.

You should report it, just so the police will have a record of it. Then if something does happen, there is a report that already backs it up.

You need to let the police know about this so if something happen the police will already know.But you all need to get your sister and let her know that she need to stop before someone get hurt.

Pull your sister aside and give her a lesson on how to pick your battles and what to say about people.
