Yes, I did the LA Weight Loss program.
I started out at 175 and I got down to 150. It does work but it does cost, they will go over the costs with you depending on how much weight you want to lose. I left them and continued the program on my own and I am now 137. I will continue to do it their way until I get to my goal. Their program is very good. I do recommend it. The first 6 days I lost about 6 pounds.

Yes it works but it is very strict and you have to follow it to the letter if you are serious about losing weight. My mother in law lost 130lbs and has managed to keep it off. It is a way of living not a diet "per se". It is expensive and it goes by how much weight you have to lose and that is how many weeks you have to buy. You should buy their protein bars in the beginning but their vitamins are nothing more than what you can get at GNC or somethinglike that. You have to be vigilent when on this diet. Eat what you are supposed to eat and the choices in what you can eat is up to you. You do not buy their food. Its not like Jenny Craig. You eat your own food but it has to be weighed and measured.
If you do not have a lot of money to spend then the next weight loss program I would try is Weight watchers. Again everything is about how serious you are about losing weight.

My ex wife used to work for LA weight loss.She had brought the plan home for me to look at since I have done so much research on nutrition.Not only is this the best plan I've ever seen but many of the people that she used to work with really seemed to care.
They teach you how to eat properly and offer some supplements in addition to the plan.Go in for the consultation.What could it hurt?
Weight watchers is a joke and a big fat lie.They have the stupidest guidelines with no basis in science or logical thinking for that matter.
The supplements aren't as important as the diet plan so save your money.I was totally impressed with the plan.I've never been overweight but have helped many people lose weight according to some of the very same guidelines.
Do an Internet search on the Glycemic Index for some useful information and for more proof of how ridiculous Weight Watchers is

Weight watchers is better and cheaper. LA weight loss works but it is very expensive, not the program, but the FOOD!! You would spend much less just eating right. I would spend the money on a consult with a nutritionist. Most insurance plans will cover that and go from there.
