First of all just because your father had an affair with another woman does NOT mean that he does not love YOU and would still do anything in the world to try and make you happy.
What has happened has nothing to do with you, it is not your fault in any way.

Second of all, you need to go and tell your father that you know that he is having an affair and also tell him that you are giving HIM the chance to go to your mother and tell her himself.
Tell him that if he does not tell your mother........then you will.

If at all possible it needs to be him that tells her.

Don't listen to the rest of the answers. These people are all snitches and love to go run and tell. They are a bunch of busy bodies with big mouths - the type of people you could never tell a secret.

First, you need to know that just because your dad is fu*king another woman doesn't mean that he doesn't love you or your mom. Sex with your mom may be extremely boring or unexciting for your dad, so he just goes and gets some from someone else.

If he takes care of you and your mom so well it means he loves both of you. Sex is a separate issue.

But, you should go to him and tell him that you know what's going on. Don't go run and tell your mom, that's stupid and selfish.

See what he says.

Maybe your mom even knows but just doesnt say anything because she lets him have another sex partner. Maybe your mom is not into sex and your dad is? You never know, and it is not your place as the daughter to create a big circus because of it.

Talk to your dad alone.

Yes, let you mom know!

My parents were married 33 years when my mom came home one Friday after work and found a note laying on the kitchen counter. The note was from my dad and said that he has fallen in love with another woman (his co-worker) and has gone to live with her. It said he has loved her for over a year and has been seeing her for quite some time. None of us expected this and had no idea it was going on. Well, it broke my mom's heart.

Telling your mom will hurt her and upset her but do it before it's too late.

Your mom has the right to know if she doesn't already. Who knows if this is the only person your father or this woman is having a relationship w/ and you don't want him to give your mom an STD.

If I were your mother, which I am not, I would want to know. I am only twelve but I do know that my mom would want to know before she was divorced, or something. She'd like to do it first, you know show that he couldn't go around doing that to all women, and she would probably want to find that woman and tell her what he did to her, and maybe that woman would leave him too. Leaving him without a woman. Therefore, hopefully teaching him a lesson.

It's not your fault for his deception for one. And two let your father tell your mother about his affair. You don't have to be his messenger.
