I think this is called sleep paralysis, you wake up and walk around but you see and feel things that arent real. sometimes it can be very frightening, expecially the first time it happens? Am i alone here or has anyone else Experienced this?

I believe that there is a Vice Versa Condition as well, where your body wakes up but your mind doest, its called "night terror" but you wake up and see your dream or nightmare happening right beside your bed

i had a simular experience when i had stopped taking my anti depressants and anti phychotic medication, it was shortly as i was trying to get to sleep, i must have dropped off to a certain extent but then half woke up and felt as if i couldnt properly awake, i could feel myself moving and trying to speak- its VERY scary!

Both my mother and myself have suffered from this. Its caused when your heart stops beating for a few seconds. This equals no blood flow to your body. When you wake up you are temporarily paralyzed due to the lack of blood flow. And yes, i agree, its very creepy.

It's happened a couple of times-frieking weird I;ll never forget it. Have you been sleep deprived or taken any new medicines lately? That's wat caused it for me I think.
