ok here's the thing. It really doesn't matter what other people think. Because I promise you almost all your answers are going to be, something about how you are nasty, or it's wrong, or it's illegal, and alot of other things.
Yes it's illegal, but when has anybody followed rules that the government sets up. You can't put an age limit on liking or loving somebody, you really can't. Because their is going to be an age difference between anybody you meet, by the time you get married or commit to a serious relationship, your boyfriend is going to have some age difference from you.
Personally I think it's great that you would consider going out with him, regardless of his age. Yeah he's 16, and your 19. ok you know your ages, good for you. But what really matters is how you both feel. If you both want to date and give it a shot, then go right ahead. The only thing I want to express to you more then anything else is to make sure that he wants to be with you for you. And not because you are older, and he can brag to his friends that a college girl is dating him. Or him only wanting to have sex. Just be careful of that. So well just sit down with him, tell him how you feel about him. And see what he wants out of the relationship you are willing to give a shot.
Follow your heart, don't put any limitations up for yourself. Always stay open minded, because if you don't, and you start to put certian limits up, your going to have a really hard time with yourself.
So well my advice is give it a shot, it's really worth it. So no matter what, remember it's what you want, and not what other people want, because you are you, and they are not you. Be your own person, and no matter what don't let anybody control your life, because that exactly it, it's your life. Society might not agree with what you are do, but when has society ever been right. It's society that set up stereotypical rules for different races, none of which are true. It's society that says gays/bi/lez is wrong, and marriage between them is unlawful and sinful. It's society that puts limits on love and liking someone. And it's society that is so corrupt and so greedy, that they try to tell you that you are a bad person, but they never look in the miror and see how horrible they are. We live in a really f*cked up world. Corrupt and greedy. We pay taxes that go to the government but nothing ever gets done, unless people rally together to make a point. A famous quote I got from V for Vendetta is "The people should not fear their government, the government should fear it's people". Which is absolutely true. Things don't ever get done or heard unless all the people come together and make a point.
My point is control your life, live it out fully. Do what you feel is best for you. And no matter what never regret anything you do, because you create a future for yourself, and good things can always come out of a bad situation or event.

Its ok to try. But be careful as 16yr old males may not be as matured as you'd like to have them to be.
