Seems pretty sadistic, that a God, with infinite foresight, would go through with a plan that would throw the majority of the souls into the Lake of Fire. He has created an excess of suffering in existence. Why would he do that? Couldn't he just keep it to himself and not create this miserable damned world? Doesn't he feel our pain even when we're in hell? Doesn't his whole plan seem kind of sadistic to you? (He knew beforehand where every soul was going to end up, even before he made us...)
Any good Christian can tell you that God loves each and every one of us and feels our pain as we are damned. He knows our every action before we do it. He knows the hairs on our head, etc... Why create so many souls he knew were destined for damnation? (Don't tell me he didn't know exactly where we were going. Sure he gave us freewill, but nonetheless he knows exactly how we're going to use it.)
A truly loving and foresightful God would have spared the masses such misery, right?

God KNOWS and always KNEW, even before the beginning of time, that I would reject the Holy Spirit and burn forever (God knows everything.) So why would he created me and all the other damned Souls like myself?

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Could spend a few days on your question.
First off, hell in the Bible is several different things. Here I just consider punishment.
(1) The hell of punishment was created for the devil and his angels and not for men, women and children.
(2) The gift of God to everyone in the world, who can accept it, is eternal life. If you do not accept eternal life you cannot live for ever.
(3) Without eternal life one cannot live forever in heaven or hell. This seems to have escaped most venerated theologians; not always noted for truth, logic, or Scriptural understanding.
You should not be upset with God over the false teaching of men who claim to represent God. First in line for some time in hell, (not purgatory for there is none) and we don't know how long, are false teachers, false prophets, etc. In other words liars that misrepresent God.
Check out your questions against the Bible. The word hell also refers just to the grave. Check out who is really going to be where.
As you almost said, people damn themselves.
If you like your prison, your bondage and your slavery better than freedom what is God to do?
A loving God has made a way of escape. There is a fire exit. If you want to stay here and eat popcorn you must like popcorn better than the life God has given and paid for.
The masses you envision in hell are just that, your vision from the thinking of others.
I feel for you and others in your struggle over the idea of free will and the concept that God knows the beginning from the end. Doesn't seem fair does it?
I used to reject the idea of free will. I called the idea of Christian will Expensive Will. My feeling was always that options between life or death, hell fire and heaven, did not offer a real choice and thus there was no free will.
My contention was that to a bad choice and a good choice must be added another good choice before there can be true free will. If there is only one good choice what's to choose?
Sorry for me, and you, there is no argument with God. Check out the book of Job and Romans 9. Not fair, look at Ezekiel.

It does seem a little counter-intuitive. But I guess if it makes you feel better to believe in a God who has so much love and so much power to make things better and just lets everyone starve to death and whatnot, I guess that's your right. I personally can't get any good feelings out of such negativity. Okay, so people have "free will". Would we rather have free will, or food to eat, a safe home to sleep in? Does anyone really think God is doing anyone any favors with this free will thing? It's all well and good for those who aren't suffering.

I agree we were all predestine, but God knew who would and would not go to heaven. There nothing to back up your theory that the majority of souls would go to hell. Most Bible believing Christians can tell that they are chosen to go to heaven. This is true, because God puts within us moral ,values. God gives us trials and tribulations to make us stronger people. I f we walked around happy and cheerful all the time , there would be no need for God in our lives.God does everything for a reason and we do not always like those reasons

The idea of a fiery place of eternal torment is not a Bible teaching.
Jehovah God created man to live forever in perfect health on a paradise earth. When Adam and Eve disobeyed and sinned, they subsequently lost that gift for all mankind.
It was never God's purpose for man to suffer and eventually die.And in His due time He will step in and restore peace and righteous upon the earth.

So, since God doesn't do things the way you would have done them, that means that God doesn't exist, right?
God created the world so that there would be some who choose to follow Him. Those who do not can't blame Him for that - He's given you His Son, He's given you His Word, and He's given you enough time to make a choice. Why do you think that it's His fault for not giving you more?

God knew what will happen if we don't follow Him!! that is why He sent His only Son that we can live for eternity. it is your choice were you want to go, but let me tell you out of my own experience, He will send the Holy Ghost or people to remind you that you should change your life so that you don't end up in hell. have you ever thought that maybe the devil is talking-and unfortunately you are listening to him and not to the voice of God that is calling you?!!

Hell, heaven and Humans Its not about christians, people from all religions depending on their self act...will b sent to either hell or heaven...and even if u r sent to hell once u have completed ur sentence and understood the purpose will b send off to heaven...the problem is most dont understand that the basic idea of life, life here on earth....the general purpose of life here is get to learn wat being a human really mans and how to b a good human being...such one that acknowledges God and doesnt harm the ones around em....humans have been described as animals...but with an element of humanity in them and as a effect of this quality free will was granted...unfortunately most dont understand fate or freewill....fate...i dont think u get into till u r able to teach ursoul to higherself....cause at lowerself ur diong nothing but payaing bills and doing wat any generic around u is...yea once u break the barrier and bring ur soul to higher self thats when u enter spirit...meaning trying to understand and then do wat ur true/ spiritual purpose of life was...and u cant blame God for wat goes wrong in ur life...its always own fault...just a matter of realising it....if u dont agree to it...then ur saying freewill doesnt exist...freewill…understanding free will means that’s u actually understand the difference between being animal and human…and is decided by the choice u make at that time..and that’s freewill, ….. after life is much much much much more longer lasting, imagine if people started doing the same things up there in heavens.......life here has a purpose cause it dont end here...its just a phase in..."life"..problem, people are too scared of dieing ;)...c wat i mean...not getting the basics right and then blaming God about it.... and plz...stop this christian chrisian thingy...u guyz r so destracted and off track and I dunno who did that to u, u call someone God who himself prayed to God...yea...jesus cant b God cause he himself prayed to God...his SON??..forGod's sake man...why does GOD's really gotta b human...cause v r...aint that stupid... stop blaming GOD..get ur own act right....

The concept of hell was created by men, written down to assume divine authority, and given to the masses to make them subservient to the ruling class. It's all incredible hogwash,. Any intelligent person can see that.... along with the fact that "love" does seem to do wonders in every area where it is applied. So, you do the math.

Seems like the god that people created doesn't make much sense does it?
Wake up and smell the coffee, there are other answers to this question if people would just take the initiative and courage to question so called authority. (especially self appointed authority)

It is not necessarily foresight to know the decisions that people make. (Wo)man is given free will and with that free will is why he commits the sins that land him in Hell. Not completely foreseeable.
