As for the first question; they are people; some are good and some are bad, just like every other race.
As for the second question: I dated someone 21 when I was 16 actually. I was a pretty mature kid, but looking back a few years later i see that it would have never worked. You might not want to hear this, but there is too much of an age gap and maturtity difference. A person learns alot about who they are in their late teens and early twenties. Those two age groups just shouldnt be in the same places in their lives; and if they are, the elder probably isn't the type of person a teen, especially a mature teen, will want to be a few years down the road.

I personally don't think there's anything wrong with Mexicans, or any other person of a different race or ethnicity. Some Mexicans can even be pretty good-looking! But I don't think it'd be a good idea for a 16 year old to date someone who's 21 not only becuz he's so much older and probably more "experienced", but if ur still in school, it's goin to be hard to see him if he's not there. But if you feel ur mature enough to date an older guy and all the hard-ships that go with it, I'd say go for it! Oh, and make sure ur parents r okay with it!

I can't lie, because after watching the movie Crash, which is one of my fav. movies, since my English teacher told us we really need to see it. I've realized that I have sterotypical ideas about all races. Whether out of my own free will, or what society implants into my brain. I know mexicans are people. They are very nice people. But well somehow I always have this weird feeling that they are going to steal something from me. Or they are going to rape one of my friends. And when they talk spanish to one and another they are making fun of me or plotting something.
I know those feelings aren't true and no matter how hard I try, I always have stereotypical thoughts, I'm working on it. Little by little I'm getting rid of all my racial stereotypes.
As to the 16 yr old dating a 21 year old. Well it takes the person to experience it to understand it. I think it's perfectly fine, as long as the 21 year old boy or girl, isn't trying to just get sex out of it, or use that 16 year old as a f*uck buddy. I mean you can't put a def. on love, or liking somebody. As long as the 16 year old and the 21 year old are happy and they have a healthy relationship. Then there is nothing wrong with it. I mean we all have age differences, no couple is of the same age. It's just not how it works. Either you are older or younger than your spouse/partner. So well if this happens to be about you. Don't listen to the world, yeah you know what it's illegal in their eyes, so well f*ck them. Who are they to tell you that you can't love somebody just because they are older/younger than you.
Follow your heart and do what you feel is best, because at the end of the day, it's YOUR life and not theirs. You choose what you want to do each and ever second of the day, all of which affects your future. You control your life and your future. Don't let anybody control you ever.

The ones around and in border towns are there for the money, be aware.
Farther back into the interior of Mexico such as Rio Verde, the people are great. They will share their food and dwellings with you and try to help you in any way they can. Over all... the Mexican people are a humble and wonderful race.
As for the 16 yr old dating a 21 yr old. He knows you are not very mature and is probably there for one thing. Don't do it.......There are too many teen pregnancies already.

a 21 year old should stick to people over 18. and what do mexicans have to do with anything? thinking of dating a mexican? mexicans rock, one of the coolest people i've met in my travels.
