How am i supposed to grip a girls hand?

When i shake a girls hand am i supposed to Grip it the same way i would grip a mans hand? or am i supposed to be gentle?

You shake hands with a woman the same way you'd shake hands with anyone - firmly, like you mean it, but not to crush the other's hand.

And whatever you do, do not shake hands with a woman limply! It's a huge turn-off.

I would say it depends on your intentions and the environment. If you are in the business world and are meeting new people that will be your co-workers or boss, shake a woman's hand in the same way as you would a man's. If, however, you are meeting a girl as a friend or perhaps someone you are interested in, you obviously don't want to grossly over-exaggerate your handshake by being aggressive and harsh on her - that might send her the wrong message. You want to be respectable and shake her hand. Don't feel like a dead fish by not moving it any! Just shake it, as simple as if you were normally turning a door nob to enter your house.

Have you ever seen a man kiss a womans hand in a movie? Well the proper way to shake a womans hand is like that but you don't bring it up to your mouth and kiss it. Your hands don't go any higher that when you shake hands with a man.
