The Son of God is a title of deity, particularly in ancient history. The Romans considered the emperor the Son of God, which identified him as deity. So when Jesus claimed to be the Son of God the people of His time understood exactly what He was saying. If Mel Gibson is a Christian, in the Greek he is "agios(Hagios) means holy one or saints.

I think it's too complicated for the human mind to fathom, but the way it's described in the Bible is that the Trinity is God in three persons: God the Father, God the Son(Jesus) and God the Holy Ghost(or Spirit). So that means that Jesus is the Son of God, but He is God, and yet He obeys God's will. I think we're gonna have to wait until we get to Heaven to figure that one out.

Jesus Christ always considered himself to be the son of God, not God himself. And he should know!

If Jesus Chrsit was God he'd have to be a schizophrenic. Especially when it came to the cross.

Is Melvin Gibson holy? Who knows! Religious? Very. Beleives in God? Obviously.

He's a good man with a good heart. He believes in God and Jesus Christ. Sounds good to me. Sounds Good to God too.

In the Jewish culture the phase "the son of..." means more than it does in our culture. A male child was not a "son" at birth. He had to grow into that position. There would come a time when the father would publicly proclaim that the child had become his "son", and at that point he had all the rights and powers of the father. Whatever he said or did was the same as if the father himself had done it. It is the origin of the bar mitzi ritual of today.

When Jesus was baptized by John the baptist, the Bible says the heaven's opened and a voice spoke forth saying "This is my son in whom I am well pleased". God was publicly proclaiming that Jesus had all the same rights and powers of God himself, and that whatever he did was just the same as of God the Father himself were doing or saying it. It was declaring that Jesus is God.

It has to do with what Christians call the "holy trinity" which is a religious mystery. It is a triune god, or 3 gods in one. (1) God the Father; (2) God the Son -Jesus- and (3) God the Holy Spirit. Hope that helps.

The use of the names "Yahweh" and "Yahshua" are believed to be essential to salvation.

On 19th July 2006 Yisrayl Hawkins announced that the world should prepare for a nuclear war which will occur no later than 12 September 2006[1].Like Christianity, members believe in the Messiah, whom they refer to as Yahshua (Hebrew for "Yahweh is salvation"). They teach that Yahshua Messiah is the Son of Yahweh but was begotten in the flesh, being born a man. He became the son of Yahweh at the time he was baptized by Yahchanan the Immerser (John the Baptist). Yahweh confirmed this when He spoke from Heaven. He lived a perfect life as our example by keeping Yahweh's 613 Laws (sin is defined as the breaking of any of these laws and by keeping them Yahshua was without sin).

The being that became known as Jesus is an aspect of an infinite God in a finite form. God needed this the same way we use an avatar in a computer game. It is this form that walked with Adam and Eve in Eden, that spoke with Abraham, that was seen by Ezekiel. Jesus was born of The Holy Spirit (another aspect of God). In this way, He became God's Son.

You have misunderstood, Jesus did not say he was God, he said and I quote ''for I and the father are one and the same'' he meant mentally not physically Check your bible and you will see that the son of man is Jesus and that God is a separate being, did he not pray to him in the garden before his arrest, well did you think he was praying to HIMSELF.Use your brain
