@ 53?? my guess would be yes, you are too old. Belly shirts are trashy on anyone @ anyage, I don't care what you look like and most people, other than nasty men, will look at you like you are some kind of freak if you wear a mini skirt. There are so many other flattering things that you could wear that can show off your body in a classy way if that was what you were aiming for.

How old are you and how bad does your body look??? These two questions are vital, I think! If your legs look good and firm hell why can't you wear a mini but if your stomach looks a little shabby with stretch marks, which is usual for a women that has had children, and or a little round...its not a good idea. But it all depends on ones looks, b/c I would say the same to a young women if she decided to wear clothes like that and was too overweight or looked horrid. Age doesn't matter as long as you feel comfortable in your skina dn know how to flaunt your good attributes decently...

I do not think it is appropriate at your age. It makes me sad to see women trying to be something they are not. You were young once and now you are older. Embrace your age, at your age I am sure you have a whole lot more to offer than just belly and legs. Use what you have earned over these few years and let go of the past.

I'm really sorry, but.....no! It's just that it would look trashy and that you would totally embarrass yourself in front of people. I'm 15 years old, and people MY age don't even wear mini-skirts all that much, and they definitely don't wear belly shirts. You don't need clothes that reveal a lot of skin to look and feel beautiful.

Those articles of clothing are basically not flattering on anyone. Even young teens with buff bodies still look trashy. I say keep that outfit for the bedroom. Maybe you can put in some pigtails too...
