I am sure there are many others, most of which we may never hear of.....
But in Scandinavia (and now spreading a bit more across Western Europe), some houses have dry composting toilets, where the "result" is a odorless garden compost derived from human waste. I think they using earth worms and enzymes.
You can now also get them in Canada (those toilets, I mean....)

Not true. Many (most countries, including the US) use composted human waste for agriculture. It is safe as long as it has been properly composted.

compost toilets for humans are available. But it has to be treated properly and not used on vegetable gardens, that's for sure, since many parasitic and microbial diseases can be transmitted by contact with human feces.

I use it on my farm, unless you eat alot of whole foods, it takes awhile for it to decompose. it is a science in itself.
