Tell your friend how you feel. If you haven't already told her, he's fair game. After you tell her, if it's not too late...a real friend would back off. If she still moves forward at full speed, she's not really your friend. Guys are a dime a dozen. Real friends are rare & precious. If this causes a problem within your friendship, determine if your crush is worth risking a friendship. For future reference, don't get caught slipping. Ever heard of...you snooze, you lose? Quite applicable in crush situations.

There are too many guys out there for two friends to argue over one. Talk to your girlfriend and reach an understanding, whoever starts a relationship with a guy has dibs on him and the other will back off. If she is a true friend this shouldn't be a problem.

Ask him out before she gets to him, make sure you don't wait too long, or your crush might! trust me, i was in the same spot, and i made the wrong choice, by waiting to long... don't wait any longer, if your crush REALLY likes you, then he'll say yes.
