I would look into classes. Usually you local area will offer night classes through school. Like adult education. Buying a CD wont hurt but classes would be better.

I think classes would be bettter than a cd. You get the interaction of the teacher and the rest of the students. It's a great choice of language because Spanish is so phonetically similar to English. The biggest problems is learning the gender of the words and sentence structure, but that's not really difficult either - just takes concentration. Have fun with it and buenos suerte a tu!

get a job where they speak both, but have the Spanish folks place little name tags on tangible items: back stock, color codes, doors to other named rooms, and activities, like cashiering and the money handling and food prep, you would have to simply ask what a step or item is in Spanish, and only use that word for the item-ALL DAY EVERYDAY, and you will pick up so many words and phrases and they'll stick with you! (Use your imagination and make sure everyone knows your serious, they will help and probably have a few laughs on your behalf, but that's half the fun)

I wouldn't waste my time paying for school. Try buying a software or cd's to learn on your own.

Try signing up for it in school.
(best and easiest doesn't always go together).
