There are no genuine mediums.
Those good at being a medium are skilled in cold reading. That's a technique of making vague guesses and narrowing down further guesses based on feedback from the subject. The subjects just tend to remember guesses that are more correct and forget or don't realize they gave the information themselves.

i don't do personal reading from these boards sweetheart
it isn't the way i work
but if i may suggest a few things to help
you could try a spiritualist church .. if you go to one of the services you will see the medium working and be able to know whether you would like that medium for a one to one reading which you can then book an appointment for ( link at the bottom )
i also work in a mediumistic chat room and although we cant ask for a reading there as we don't ask spirit to come .. we open to spirit and see what happens .. you never know when it may be for you ( link at the bottom )
there are many genuine mediums and i would strongly recommend those who work through the churches , as they will have been trained to better standards and work according to rules and regulations

I am sorry I can't help you. I can reccomend a good tarot site and it often carries links to other areas of interest. I don't know if it is a help to you but looking at the answers you have had so far it can't do any harm!
