ok, It is my parents 25th wedding anniversary this weekend we rented a hall, got a d.j and are having a big family gathering for it {they already know} my husband and I were thinking maybe buying them a big grandfather clock , most people are just giving them money but I want to give them something they can keep for years to come and hopefully look at for a reminder of how much they have loved eachother throughout these 25 years is a grandfather clock a good gift for them for thier 25th or should I get them something else?? If so any ideas?

Well, traditionally, the gift is supposed to be something silver/sterling silver, but a grandfather clock is a wonderful idea. They are very beautiful, and can be passed down for many generations. Just make sure you find one that the chime can be turned off if they have never had one before. The chime might get on their nerves....they can be aggrevating, startling, or interruptive, and it takes a while to get used to it.

I think the grandfather clock is a good idea but its up to u what u get them.

i think it's a good idea, especially for such a landmark in both of their lives. it will definitely be a great way to remember the night and the party. i think it is really great of you to be go all out for their anniversary.

no body wants feel being ancient.
don't ever give grand father clock.
give them something that will make them feel young. they will luv u 4 it.
and if u can afford, a holiday trip 2 some exotic place.
