Much like atheists they can't see the truth. Just kidding, you are entitled to your beliefs, just try to see others point of views first.
I will be the first to admit there is a stigma to being a Christian. People think of some southern white trash trailer park dummy that sends paychecks to a televangelist so he can vacation in Europe every year.
I saw "Tallegdaga Nights" and the scene where they argued the theology of praying to the baby Jesus as opposed to the adult was a perfect illustration of how some view Christians.

Evolute ain't a word. And monkeys are monkeys.
It would be easier to evolve into a Republican because the party will tell you what to think.
Monkeys evolve into smarter monkeys.
So they wouldn't want to be republicans.
Also monkeys can't contribute so they won't be accepted by the repubs.

Monks don't evolve (into what you expect them to evolve, I don't know) cause they're celibate. Then again, other non-monks haven't evolved very muche either.
