First decide what culture you feel most drawn to. My husband love the Celtic gods and my friend is really into the Norse gods. Personally I'm all about the ancient Mexican deities. When you find a culture you like, research its pagan roots and see who appeals to you. Do some online research and see if you can find any rituals anyone wrote devoted to these deities or make up your own (based on generic Wiccan ceremonies or on the legends you uncover during your research).
You can also mix and match from different pantheons. Just be respectful.

Ah ... well ... ya see ... ah ... don't know how to break this to ya ... pagans don't exactly worship a Goddesses or a God, per-say, that is a Middle Eastern Schick. Pagans/Wiccans work with a God or Goddess for specific aims which they are looking to achieve. Mind you, the Goddesses and/or Gods are but the refractive image of the All (the unknowable source), but as to which Goddess or God you should seek depends on what you want to do. To know that you need to go through the mythology (watered down politically correct stories from antiquity) and see which one fits your need and/or your personality. You have some reading to do.

Try and find the god or goddess that relates the most to you and you're personality. There are god of music, arts, earthly labour, fertility.
Also a differant god/goddess for a differant cause, goddess of love if you're fighting with you're family or friends, goddess of fertility if someone you know wants to have a child.
There are a lot of books you can find at pagan bookshops or buy on line from pagan or Wicca societies.
I must also congratulate you on choosing such a peace full and loving believe.

It actually ain't about worshipping something else...
it is about admiring the beauty and strength within.

Wiccans venerate the Goddess and the God. The names of the old Gods and Goddesses are seen as being aspects of the God and Goddess, not the complete being(s).
Read a little more before making such a choice.

Whichever God(ess) choses you is the one(s) you should worship, whether they be Pagan or otherwise. To find your Patron dieties, you can do a Journey, or ask for a dream vision if you don't know how to Journey yet. Before you go to bed at night, go outside with an offering of food and wine, or milk or juice. Light the candle and pour the liquid into the ground and place the food offering on top of it. Offer yourself into the service of a God or Goddess and ask that He or She reveal Him/Herself to you in your dreams. Take the candle inside and pray once more before blowing it out and going to sleep. Keep focusing on this goal as you drift off and your God or Goddess will reveal Him or Herself to you in your dreams. It may take awhile for you to "get" it, but keep trying. It took me years to realize that the "Woman" who taught me things in my dreams and randomly identified herself as Daybreak, Lightkeeper, Morning Glory, Celestina, etc. was, in fact, Eos, aka Aurora.

That's a tough one. There are so many different pantheons, and you don't have to stick with only one pantheon either. A lot of eclectic Wiccans will honor Pan, Isis, and Athena, to name a few.
I would suggest for now, addressing the God and Goddess as just the God and Goddess, and maybe thinking of the Goddess in terms of the Earth, and the God in terms of elements that fertilize the earth (such as the sun, rain, seeds, etc.).
Also, just continue studying and practicing, and you will be approached (either in meditation or in a dream) by a particular God or Goddess. He/She will be your patron God/dess, and then you can go from there.
For example, in my personal experience I was approached by Bast. Bast is my patron Goddess, so I am now looking to the Egyptian pantheon (Isis, Osiris, etc.).

In it rather is maximum person-friendly style Wicca is a polytheistic faith whose followers worship a God and Goddess representing specific components and attitudes yet not personified as such (given names, histories and strict personalities). that's the template regardless of if it rather is not carved in stone and transformations in this thought happen broadly between distinctive Wiccan traditions and solitary Wiccans. some Wiccans go away from this in basic terms slightly with the aid of figuring out the God as a particular deity and the Goddess as a particular deity (i.e., Zeus & Hera, Morrigan & Cernunnos, and others). The deities stay static and the Wiccan worships in basic terms those 2. **i don't declare that those pairings accurately signify mythologically superb suited pairings of deities from distinctive religions, they're in simple terms examples. Others could worship finished pantheons, communing with particular deities based on the point of their ritual or magical working (in the event that they seem to be a Wiccan who's additionally a witch). nonetheless others lean in direction of the two the God or Goddess by using fact the established concentration of their worship, recognising the different in a marginally extra minor function. those are in simple terms examples of the achieveable techniques to deity in Wicca, usually human beings commence out with the God and Goddess thought and discover that their ideals evolve as deities form of make themselves prevalent to the guy. there are probable a lot of alternative procedures you need to pass approximately establishing deities and nonetheless be able to categorise what you're working in direction of as Wicca and there is truthfully a lot of dialogue over a variety of of of the situations i've got stated and regardless of if or not it nonetheless classifies as Wicca or regardless of if it turns into some thing else completely at a factor. the two way, between the best things approximately Wicca is that that's an extremely customisable faith (is particularly) and no person is forced to worship a undeniable god or goddess that they don't experience a connection with. till now you commence choosing deities out of mythologies, regardless of if, get an outstanding, thorough expertise of what Wicca is and is meant to be. Then, rather learn the thoughts of deities you're fascinated in and experience a connection with till now you commence enhancing this faith on a whim.

It entirely depends on what you want to believe in.
Be it Diana, Freyja, Apollo, Gaea, Loki, Eris, or Bob the little blue pixielike god who lives in your left shoe and gives darn good massages.
There are too many paths to pick from. Message me and let me know your decision, I'd be interested to hear who and why
