it doesnt ni england - there was a thunderstrorm yday nite and i had 12 pints of milk in my fridge but it didn't go sour. mayb in ur case the power was cut off for too long - do u live in america by ne chance? wear there are massive thunderstorms?

the scientific reason for this is durring a thunder storm is when its overhead, the milky way gremlins come down and pee in your milk which turns it sour, the only way to stop this is to put a shaved Chihuahua dyed green in your fridge..hope this helps

Nothing to do with grannies. It does tend to go sour quicker when there are nearby thunderstorms, whether it's in a fridge or not, so it can't be because of power cuts.

Never heard that one unless the power has been off overnight, then only maybe, as long as the fridge door has'nt been opened.
