Yes... it is. I read an article about it. Check out some medical articles. Green tea is best, but both tea and coffee make you pee a lot and lose water, which means you need to drink more.

I heard many times that tea is better than coffee. But the truth is, the both are good for your health.
"Drinking more than two cups of coffee or tea a day may help reduce the risk of chronic liver disease in people at high risk for liver injury, a new study suggests.
This protective effect was observed in people at higher risk for liver injury due to heavy drinking, being overweight, diabetes, or iron overload"
.
"Drinking at least one cup of tea a day could cut the risk of heart attack by 44%, according to recent research. Investigators say the beneficial results probably are due to the powerful amounts of natural substances in tea known as flavonoids, vitamin-like nutrients that make blood cells less prone to clotting. Flavonoids also are one of the most powerful antioxidants, or substances that offset the damaging effects of oxygen in the body".
"Caffeine is associated with enhanced alertness, increased productivity and concentration when you're driving, and enhanced athletic performances. In terms of caffeine, coffee has the most followed by black tea, green tea and white tea"
"The maximum recommended amount of coffee is four 8-ounce cups a day, although it depends on the individual in terms of body size, among other factors. Because caffeine has been shown to raise blood pressure, you should limit your intake if you have any blood pressure abnormalities. More than four cups is never recommended".
So, you see, coffee and tea are healthy. Just drink it as much as it recommended, that you'll be just fine! Enjoy your drinks! ;-)

Caffeine can cause swings in your blood sugar which can give you feelings of sudden hunger etc. I believe green decaf tea is better for you, but I also enjoy a decaf coffee a couple days a week.
