Im having a REALLY PAINFUL series sharp pains shooting through the back left side if my head about every 3-5 minutes and ive been up all night crying. Ive heard before this can happen from infection inside the body but i am not sure if thats true. What is this and what the hell do i do about it? It's KILLING me!!!!!! I took 3 advil and it doesnt help one bit!

I read on some website that it could be a kind of migraine. But this pain is SO miserable i cant even explain it. It feels like electricity shooting through my head then my whole body jumps from the pain. I honeslty dont think i can take it much longer. I dont have health insurance and im afraid if i go to the ER they will call it a headache and send me away. I just really find it hard to believe its a headache.

Call the emergency room and speak to a nurse. Can you drive? If the hospital is not too far away and you think you can drive, go now. Even if it is an infection and nothing worse, if it is that bad, you need a shot with antibiotics. It could be something very serious. Take a cab if you need to, but call them and get their take on this. Do it now.

try an acute care clinic there are er's that take uninsured people. but my point is you need to get somewhere asap it could be a migraine but a doctor is better to determine that they can do cat skan, mri and rule out problems you don't want to sit on this you need to go get treatment now not to mention relief from the pain take care

See a neurologist, who will probably order an MRI. It sounds like a migraine. Go to www.prevention.com and search "migraine"...tons of new discoveries for treatment.

Like realty shark says go to ER right now. Don't take a chance.
They can give you something to make the pain go away.

I'm sure its effect by over nitrogen in your body, meanning to say theres air inside that are block from coming out from you body. If you still feel pain better you go for therapy or go for chamber. i think this gonna help you out.

If you're also sensitive to light and/or sound, it may be a migraine. I've had migraines that lasted for two days.

Go to a neurologist. He's the kind of doctor that handles neurological problems.

sounds like it could be neuralgia..an irritation of a nerve..this is very painful. Sometimes, anti-inflammatory meds help, like ibuprofin...ask your doctor about the neuralgia possibility...
