Stress. Indigestion, any number of things.
See your doctor.

Yeah! Go for it! You need to tell your parents as soon as possible because you could find out that you have a problem and it can be fixed straight away... I'm 14 and I've also had sharp chest pains before and I told my parents and guess what... I'm fine now! I dont know you, but I know I WOULDNT want you to suffer in any way. Tell them straight away and I hope you'll never feel it the pain again. Good Luck!

Yes, you should tell your parents and see a doctor. Its not going to hurt you to tell someone about it or get it checked out. It would be far worse if there was something wrong, that could be fixed, but it ends up really bad because you ignored it. One little appointment can set your mind at ease.

Next time it happens try to pressure your heart with your thumb. If it hurts inside then maybe consulting a doctor would be best. Otherwise, it may just be heartburn. Drink a warm glass of milk will remedy the problem.

you should never risk your life by not telling your parents and getting a professional opinion, it could be something minor that isn't life threatening but it could be very serious as well, i am blessed in that my children and granchildren trust me enough to confide in me for everything and i am very thankful that they do, i worry much less about them because i know they tell me everything
