Where in the Bible does it state pre-marital sex, masturbation, and homosexuality are sins?

Include a quote from the Bible, as I do not own one.

I will not look up Bible verses because it is a very big book with many chapters. If you don't have an actual quote your answer will be ignored.

I would also like to add that I do not believe in any form of religion or god. I find religion to be very interesting.

Don't pull the "Thou shalt not commit adultery" crap here. I know that adultery is sex between a man and a woman who is married to someone else. It has nothing to do with chastity. The dictionary says so.

Masturbation:
It was once defined as self-abuse and in the bible it says not to abuse yourself.
"Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body." from Corinthians 6:18

Premarital Sex:
God believed that all sexual relations were to be saved for a husband and a wife. He didn't want anyone to fornicate outside of the bonds of wedlock.
1 Corinthians 6:18-20 & 1 Corinthians 7:1-2
"Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband."

Homosexuality:
Seeing as sexual relations were to be left to a man and a woman in holy matrimony it is not surprising that homosexuality is frowned upon in the Bible. The book is extremely old and therefore has old-fashioned views.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10: "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters, nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."

*NOTE*
I do not believe in any of this, but in order to answer your question, I tried to be objective. I hope this helps.

Ephesians 5:(31) For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.

From what I understand, becoming one flesh translates into having sex. If a man is instructed to leave his father, find a wife and have sex with her, I'm assuming that means people are supposed to have sex after they're married.

This next verse talks about a woman who has sex before she was married:

Deuteronomy 22:21 she shall be brought to the door of her father's house and there the men of her town shall stone her to death. She has done a disgraceful thing in Israel by being promiscuous while still in her father's house. You must purge the evil from among you.

Apparently if it was discovered that a woman was not a virgin when she got married, she was stoned to death for it. Not sure if there's a similar verse for men who slept around before getting hitched.

As for masturbation, the only verse that could possibly apply might be:

1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.

But then again, I don't think the Bible ever specifically said "touching yourself is sexually immoral", so I guess what qualifies as sexually immoral is up to the interpreter.

Finally, with homosexuality, there are the usuals...

The story of Sodom and Gomorra. Romans 1:27. Leviticus 18:22. Leviticus 20:13 even talks about people who commit homosexual acts being deserving of the death penalty.

I hope that's a good enough answer.

All of those are forms of sexual imm.orality. and sexual immorality is a sin. this verse that i am giving you was addressed to men. "do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable." Leviticus 18:22, "because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. in the same way men gave up natural relations with women and were inflamed with lusts for one another. men committed indecent acts withother men and recieved in themselves the due penalty for their perversion." Romans 1:26-27 now we see here that there could be a possible mention of the first STDs. "do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? do not be deceived.neither the sexually immoral nor adulterers nor prostitutes nor nor homosexual offenders." 1 Corinthians 6:9 i cant find anything on the other two at the moment. it does say that sex was mede for the husband and wife and that it should only be between the two people. as for self pleasure, i am uncertain.

Pre-marial sex and homosexuality mentioned several places in the Bible. I'm not sure about masterbation.

Here's one passage...

I Cor 6:9-11
"Surely you know that the wicked will not possess God's Kingdom. Do not fool yourselves; people who are immoral or who worship idols or are adulterers or homosexual perverts or who steal or are greedy or are drunkards or who slander others or are thieves—none of these will possess God's Kingdom. Some of you were like that. But you have been purified from sin; you have been dedicated to God; you have been put right with God by the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God."

If you read Ephesians and Romans they are both littered with statements against premarital sex and homosexuality...but I don't think that masterbation is ever mentioned. Also, in Genesis where it is talking about Sodom and Gomorha it talks about the evil that men were doing in regards to their sexual behavior and how the angels destroyed the cities and Lot and his two daughters were the only ones to escape...his wife didn't get very far before she turned to a pillar of salt for disobeying the angels' direct orders not to turn around and look.

You can look up Bible verses many places (or read the whole Bible, see whole books, chapters and passages, etc. . at your leisure (Bible.com, and/or Biblegateway are good sites).

I'm not going to look them all up, but in Leviticus much of this is given ("You shall not lie with a man as with a woman, it is an abomination" is one from Leviticus [chapter 18, I believe].

In Romans chapter 1 it says "men forsook their natural function with the woman and burned with lust for each other" (homosexuality), and "likewise women with women" [inviting God's judgment] and it clearly calls this perverse and says it's so evil that since these people wanted to do it so badly, God "gave them over" (allowed them to have what they wanted - they wanted to practice this sin so badly, He decided to let them (and let them suffer the enormous consequences as well). That's pretty heavy. The God of mercy "gave them over" . .

In both the Old and the New Testaments fornication (premarital sex) is condemned (1st Cor chapter 9, I believe, lists all of the above but masturbation, which, I believe there is an OT verse that condemns it, but it isn't explicit. However, taken with some NT (New Testament verses), it's clear you couldn't masturbate without sinning.

There are more than a couple places where believers are told to shun fornication (as it's sinful), as well as other sinful practices.

There is also more (condemning homosexuality) in Genesis (where God condemned Sodom for their homosexual practices and rained down fire and brimstone on the city because of it).

Also, in Jude and 2nd Peter, God likens homosexuality to the same kind of sin that the fallen angels committed (in Genesis 6, when they (the "sons of god" (in this case fallen) angels) . . went in to the daughters of men. .

Jude calls this "going after strange flesh" (flesh they were never meant to be joined with) . . and then says it's the same way the men of Sodom went after strange flesh (flesh they were never meant to be joined with (those of the same sex)).

By the way, I don't believe in any religion, either.

I do believe in Christianity, but that isn't a religion. It is a system of belief, but not a religion.

I do believe in God, also, obviously, because Christians believe in God. I believe in God because there isn't any other possible explanation for the existence of man, and the existence of the universe.

Darwinian evolution is obviously impossible (mathematically and every other way), and has no supporting evidence (even tho' we are constantly told otherwise, there isn't yet one shred of concrete evidence supporting Darwinism, and, very likely, if there isn't any yet, there probably never will be).

There is no other rational explanation, so I believe in God, and His existence and creative power.

I don't recall reading anything about pre-marital sex (probably because Mary got pregnant with Jesus before she was married), but here is what I do know...

Corinthians does not begin with a distinction against premarital sex and sex.... it is against sex in all forms.

Marriage is only for those who cannot resist temptation of the flesh, and it is the only way to have sex without going to hell.

Masturbation:

Gen.38:9-10
And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother. And the thing which he did displeased the LORD: wherefore he slew him also.

Homosexuality:

Lev.18:22
Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Lev.20:13
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Rom.1:26-27
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

"Thou shall not commit adultery". This means you must protect your chastity. And because premarital sex, masturbation, and homosexuality defiles chastity, they are a sins.

I'm not sure but I think they're listed in with the things like
if you eat shellfish you should be put to death and if a woman is menstruating she should be isolated from everyone else, etc, so forth and so on.
