also, how long till the results come in?

depends on the state.. but also depends on what the results of the test are.. if it is a hot zone of std activity in the area.. the cdc will be notified. but no names should be given..just go to the health department. if you test positive for aids or something non curable...they will refer you to a counselor.. if many girls in you area are testing positive for something..then they may consider it an outbreak and must find the source.. so then they may tell your parents.. good luck..not sure how fast the results come in.. but if you go to your own doctor.. they wont tell your parents unless it shows up on your bill or you need to have prescription.

no you don't have to have parental concent to get an std test. just go to a local clinic like planned parent hood and ask to be tested. as long as you are in school, it should be free. it usually takes a couple of weeks for results to come back in.

Not if you go to planned parenthood but you must be at least 14. they also offer a program for financial assistance if you dont want to put the charges on your parents insurance and cant afford to pay the full amount of the bill. i really recommend planned parenthood its a great place to get info on sex and other hard to talk about subjects.
