Hello,
Where in the world can I get really affordable flying classes. What is the general duration if I do it at one single stretch full time.
And if I do flying classes is there anything like a PP License valid around the world?

Thanks,
ND.

As I said, I am actually looking for cheapest training. I heard training in Phillippines Oriental flying school in Manila has best facilities and very affordable. Please let me know if I get trained there, how can I get PPL in US later.

I'm with "rage" on this one.
Many many people from all over the world come to get their PPL's here. the USA just has the best training available in my opinion ( Canada too ).

Also AOPA - www.aopa.org - has started a "project pilot" mentoring program that may be of some help to you !? It may loosen some of ur expenditures if u are able to have another Pilot take u under their wing and help u - go check it out.

Also - if you are looking for cheap training and then wonder how u will attain a PPL for the USA after u have recieved one in another country (as u mention) won't u be defeating ur costs anyway.

U can do a very good job with a very good CFI and disciplined home schooling and regimented flight schedule. And again "rage" is correct - How much time and dedication and money will determine the length of time it will take to achieve ur goal of PP.

Best of Luck and safe flying !

Lots of people come to the States for pilot training. Even with the cost of fuel and everything else going up, civilian flight training is still less expensive here than most places in Europe or the middle east.

There are international conventions in place that require countries to recognize and honor pilots licenses from other countries. However, if you're worried about taking lessons on the cheap, I don't see you financing many International pleasure flights anytime soon.

Best reccomendation is to go to http://www.beapilot.com
You can find a flight school near you and get a coupon for an introduction flight. Length of time to get your PPL is all on you. it depends on how often you fly and your proficency. also your instructor pilot is the one that has to sign you off for check rides, so it depends on his comfort level with your flying. find a flight school near you, contact them for specific information on their timelines. Good luck!!
