Their legs usually move back forward after a few hours. You can gently move them forward and then release them, this will help the tendons. They can go up to 6 hours without eating after they are born. Good luck.

I rather have bred cats for over ten years and it rather is extremely uncommon certainly for a kitten like this to stay to tell the tale, in spite of a great deal of intervention. out of your description it sounds as though he's already loss of existence. Please do attempt your proper, yet don't experience undesirable if he does not make it. Tube feeding could be marvelous. you will discover video clips of the thank you to do it on Youtube, yet you degree the tube all the way down to the tummy on the exterior first so as which you be responsive to the way far it needs to flow in. A vulnerable kitten does not have the stength to suckle proper and feed itself. there's a congential abnormality which includes an inperforate anus or cleft palate, so verify for thise, yet bear in mind that some abnormalities are inner and would't be checked for. in case you are able to no longer get an suited kitten milk powder then you certainly can use warmed goat milk, yet no longer cow. stable success.

well i hope it lives if it is yours and you if it wont nurse off if its mother then you r going to have to nurse it yourself with one of those medicen things for a baby but it looks like a needle but it is not a needle though and if it wont take it in then you r going to have to open its mouth with your hands but not to much pressure you could hurt it and then you sqeave little by little into the mouth and give it a minute after you do 1 little squirt just to maje sure that all the milk went down so it wont through it back up or choke!!!!well good luck though!!!and i am really hope it lives 2!

I would guess you must hold him up to a teat when she is lying down. He must eat of course and I would be sure he does and not leave it to chance.
I do hope his legs get straightened out. I wonder how many other kittens there are and if he would need to compete with them for food. In that event I would resort to bottle feeding.
The mother may kill him too if she feels he is defective and not able to grow up and be independent. That's just nature's way though it seems so cruel to us.

If they are permanently backward, It's sad, but his mother will probably reject him for being disfigured. You should first take him to the vet to make sure everything else is okay (is he going to be able to walk?) and then you will probably need to nurse him yourself with a bottle.

If mom is rejecting the little one then you are going to have to feed her yourself. An eye dropper and baby formula will do the trick.
