A raw vegan? I was a raw vegan for 2 months until I realized I was Anemic after a doctor visit. Since I am not 18 I had no choice and my parents started force feeding me 'normal' food because they don't believe in supplements of any kind. So now I am a regular meat eater, and no longer vegan. I am hoping one day to go back to being a raw food vegan because it is the most uplifting expirience a person can live through with food.

I was on an organic "raw foods only" diet for 2 years back in 1979-81. I was a nursing mother whose baby was allergic to almost everything that I was eating. When I switched to raw fruits, vegetables, seeds & nuts, the baby calmed down & so did I! I wasn't sick for the first time in my life! It was a nerve wracking way of eating due to the "harshness" of how others judge you & how you start to worry about what is in every little thing you eat! I NOW eat cooked food, but I use the steam method only. No baked, fried, or microwaved foods.

No raw food vegan here, sorry.

I like to think of myself as a flexatarian. Part vegetarian, part carnivorous. I mostly eat meat, but do enjoy quite a few vegetarian or meatless meals as much as I can. A plant based diet seems to be a very healthy diet & I can see myself completely moving in that direction eventually. I don't know if I could ever just eat raw though.'

Tried to do it for a while, managed for two months, but in the end I was constantly tired and craving carbohydrates. No cooked food makes them hard to get. So it wasn't really for me, went back to cooking. But my brother swears by it. Says it gives him heaps more energy. Guess it depends on your lifestyle and body type. I'm really skinny, so I don't have much to burn or run on if I don't feed myself some bulky stuff.

I don't think there would actually be anyone that stupid here. If you are - please don't answer and admit to this or people will laugh at you.
