are cucumbers, peppers are also fruit? or vegetables? considering they have seeds????????

Yes, they are all "Fruits". Also eggplant, squash, and pumpkins. Vegetables are defined as coming from the stalks, stems, leaves, or roots of the plant. Fruits are the parts with seeds. So you can have a plant that yields both fruits and vegetables, like nopalito cactus (opuntia) .

Years ago, the U.S. Supreme Court "declared" that the tomato is a vegetable for the purposes of importation restrictions. Just another way that the government fudges facts for political purposes.

Cucumbers are a fruit, peppers I don't think so because zuchinni is definately a veggie and it has seeds..I think..

Yes, they are all fruit, though my roommate (consumate chef) insists that peppers are a spice, not a fruit or vegetable.

Yes; peppers are technically a fruit; and I believe that cukes are technically berries, but I'm not sure on that one. But I do know squash are technically berries.

Anything that grows on a vine or tree is considered a fruit. Anything grown underground is a veggie..

no because i think in order for it to be a fruit it would have to be sweet.
