Another Advertising brainstorming session that ended up after 5 minutes down the pub.

Yes, the only way to eat Weetabix is with lots of sugar and warm milk, and in Winter, it's not a Summer cereal

OK so call me weird.. I actually eat them that way. I also butter them and put jam on top and eat them as a snack food..weetabix is a multi snack food in my house and not just a cereal..if you get some vanilla yogurt and crumble the weetabix into it its good.

Sounds bizarre I know. Never tried it so can't really say whether it's good or bad. But you never know until you try. It might be nice. I would have but I don't do weetabix it just does not agree with me.

can you imagine the advertising agency pitching this concept to the client? Can you imagine them all sitting around the boardroom table trying this obnoxious combination and all slapping eachother on their backs, congratulating themselves that they have tapped into some trendy fad that combines a cereal that has been around for decades and a product that has limited appeal. This is supposed to ride on the back of new products like smoothies and organic juice drinks which are expensive and again, of limited appeal. Whatever next?

I don't understand that either. I mean, for ages they harped on about how low fat and low in calories and good for you Weetabix is with just a splash of skimmed milk then now they're suggesting you add yogurt and fruit to it - which almost trebles the amount of calories and fat that is in it! No thanks - I'll stick to the, apparently, less healthy 'normal' option!

Don't see what the fuss is about. Yoghurt, milk, it's all the same stuff. It's not like you're putting gravy on it or anything, jesus...

Personally, I think milk is better as you've got more to soak it up with.

Weetabix SUCKS. Horrible cereal. I'd rather eat a wicker swingset.

I know, long before the ad came up I had friends who ate cornflakes and other cereal with yoghurt. (forgot to finish that I told them they were mad then it'll never catch on, boy was I wrong!)
