There a several types and flavors so you should be able to find one you like. Also Morningstar and Garden Burger make many different types as well. All have different flavors and textures. Everyone in my family has different favorite ones.

I really enjoy them! I like the vegan original kind!
I think the secret is to not think of them as a substitute for a hamburger. I mean, compared to the real thing, they're always going to be "weird" to you. However, if you just kind of think of them as another dinner choice, they should become more palatable.
What I normally do is slowly fry my Boca burger in a frying pan. Then, I add some sliced tomatoes and heat them through. Then, I lightly toast two slices of bread. I assemble the sandwich: bread, Boca burger patty, tomato slices, barbecue sauce, second slice of bread. Then, I return it to the frying pan to toast up and allow the flavors to mingle.
Good luck! :D

They're good as long as you have the right toppings on them and they're not cooked in the microwave or something.
The veggie burger that I like best is Morningstar Farms black bean burgers. They're so good with guacamole on them. YUM!

They do have a different texture than ground beef. However, they can be quite tasty fried with a little olive oil in skillet or quick 2 minutes in a microwave.

Morningstar Farms Grillers Vegan are the best. (the regular grillers from Morningstar Farms taste like garlic dead meat to me). The Grillers Vegan are really hard to find. They used to be called Better 'n Burgers.

They're awesome. Gardenburgers are good too. So are the gardenburger: grilled chicken. Sure....soy meat doesn't taste nearly as close as regular hamburger, I'll admit that, but soy is healthier and is good enough for me.

I love them grilled outdoors, perhaps with some worchester sauce, then put on a sesame wheat bun with mustard /mayo /ketchup, pickles, tomato, lettuce, cheese, and grilled onions... mmmhmm...
The grilling gives it a nice texture; and with all those condiments, you don't notice the texture that much anyway. :o)

I don't! I'm a vevetarian but I enjoy eating gardenburgers because they don't pretend to be like meat. I don't like bocaburgers because they pretend to be like meat, and when I ate one I couldn't finish it because it was too much like meat, which I don't like.
If you like meat, then eat the real thing. If you don't, then I don't understand why you would eat a meat wannabe. The only reason I can see for eating something like that would be if you love meat but can't eat if for medical reasons.
