I don't know its pretty dumb. Its because of stereotypes and they see as meat eating as testosterone consumption or something. All they need is a strict vegan to beat them up and it will shut them up.

I don't really understand the question...I am vegan and lots of my friends (who are male) are vegan as well. I don't think that the anti-vegetarianism view is restricted to males either.
If people mention anything about us not getting enough fibres, proteins etc then just point them in the direction of the vegetarian society's website - http://www.vegsoc.org/info/basic-nutrition.html (lists some food that isn't vegan but also has vegan alternatives).
Hope this helps!

I am married to a fellow vegetarian and I would not consider even dating a meat eater. It is too great of a difference in basic world views. I would not cook meat or have it in my house.
There are some male vegetarians around. There is nothing wrong and everything right about vegetarianism.

You have to eat something, for a ballanced diet. If one thing missing, there 's no balance. Besides, not many restaurants have something vegetarian. I don't eat meat often, anyway. In resturants, I always order chicken or fish. I only have a burger, once and awhile- usually twice a month.

First, not ALL guys think veg-ism is lame. However, the ones who do scoff at this perfectly normal life choice have security issues within thier own psyches. Ask them if they've ever tried it for themselves. If being veg makes you feel great share the benefits you've found with them. If they don't wanna be open minded, ignore them too. Cheers.

Because we were given teeth. Thats for chewing meat. We are, in part, carnivores. Salads are nice, but seldom as the main meal.
