I don't mean what else can be eaten with peanut butter, but what type of "bread" is used to make a typical peanut butter sandwich??

Here is the USA it is peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with the bread being plain old non-nutritious white bread. It is not a sandwich I ever liked but then millions love this combination usually described in short as a "PBJ" sandwich.

everyday white bread, like Wonder Bread. The kind that curls up in a ball on the roof of your mouth. Milk is a must with a traditional p-b-j sandwich!

Crackers are good and also whole wheat bread. But my favorite is marble rye with seeds toasted with peanut bitter and butter on top.
