Wash them under the running water, dry them with the towel. Put in the oven and dry the way you like them. If you like them salty, then leave them a little wet, so the salt can stick to them and then put them into the preheated oven.

Rinse them in a sieve with lots of water. Then you can put them in a bowl with a lot of salt and a small amount of water and scrub them in the bowl. The salt acts as an abrasive and the slime comes off. It takes patience though. Okay.

I just washed them under running water and it seemed to work. I tried to dry them in the oven though, and they wqren't v nice- hope yours turn out better!
