I watched a documentary a while back that explained a theory. Some time ago - 1950's to 1960's medial scientists were searching for a vaccine for polio which was literally in epidemic forms. one trial of vaccine was made from antibodies from monkeys. It was tested on Africans sick with polio. Eventually the vaccine for polio was perfected and today the world is almost free from polio but it is believed that one of the trial vaccines from the monkeys antibodies may have passed aids into humans. Although the documentary was clear to point out it was just a theory it seemed quite likely from the way they presented. The whole program was about an hour in length and was fascinating to watch.

Actually the general concensus among scientists is that the virus was spread from monkeys while cleaning the meat for consumption.
But then again it could have been an African Perv!

as far as i know AIDS been found in USA and Europe, first 4 cases been found in gay males, that is why there is myth that AIDS is gay problem,
ive heard a story about Africa, but if it happend it is probably coz in africa USA/Israel or some Europen coutntry did tests and thats how AIDS came to us :D or its just natural virus... who knows:D

many others think it was killing monkies and eating raw flesh, however, if you really want to know, it was the United State Government.
