We love to play Scattergories and my favorite dip recipe is SO simple and good:
1 large can of refried beans
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
1 bottle of salsa
1 TBS chili powder
1/4 cup of finely diced onion
Just put it all in a pan and simmer, stirring constantly, until all the cheese is melted.
Serve with tortilla chips or fritos.....YUMMY

absolute best party game is apples to apples.
by out of the box publishing.
you get a stack of adjective cards and a bigger stack of noun cards. everyone takes turns being the judge. each round the judge reads an adjective, and whoever gives them the best fitting "noun" - in their opinion, wins the card. object is to get most adjective cards.
why it's fun; any number can play, everyone is involved in every round, no waiting for your turn, you can play it serious or sarcastic or funny. any age can play and win. I got 1 at borders, my sis found hers at target, and you can get it online. get the party box, its about $30

easy appetizer recipe. delicious but ingredients sound gross.

1 can of artichokes
1 cup of mayo
1 cup grated parmesan cheese

chop up the artichokes, mix with other two ingredients, bake in a glass dish for 20-25 min at 350 til bubbly and brown. serve with crackers.
