READ, READ, READ:

Yes...it is because of hormones BUT.....you CAN gain weight doing it. Very easily so!! During that time of the month...curb your appetite with doing other things. Eat normal.....don't allow yourself to overindulge. An appetite suppressant may be just what you need for that time of the month. Listen, take it from one who knows. Fat cells accumulate fastest during the years of 20-35. Sure they can be lost quickly too, with exercise. BUT, once you've got them and your use to catering to those hormonal binges......the fat cells just keep coming! BEWARE! Don't allow your body to get use to bad habits. You will pay for it later. And if later doesn't bother you now? Rent the movie Shallow Hal. Hormones can get way out of whack when a person doesn't take care of themselves. Stay healthy friend. Be lean and mean!

I eat loads before a period and regret it and thought it was only me. Usually I eat loads of chocolate. Obviously it depends what you eat as to whether it makes you fat.

it's you hormones. And yes, if you keep eating like that eventually you will get fat. Unless of course you exercise to combat the excess calories.

Yes I dread that time, it is because your hormones are changing around that time and it throws things off balance. You won't get fat, now if you eat like that everyday, then yes you will. Just get plenty of excercise and drink plenty of water.
