Really? That is very interesting. I am a smoker and had episodes of the same kind from the effects of smoking. To be honest im high right now. But i do believe it is also the kind of pot you get. When i smoke stress weed (sorry ****) i have my heart racing and i feel very uncomfortable as if my heart is goin to jump out my chest. But when i smoke dro i feel the natural relaxing high. I also think what kind mood you are in can affect your high. I would also like to know if there is a real link between pot and heart attacks. Thanx for askin this question BTW.

Marijuana can be hard on the heart. In the first hour after smoking pot, a person is at risk of a heart attack.

Let's just say that smoking anything is bad for the heart and other parts of your body as well especially the BRAIN...
But just for the record it sounds like the stuff you had may have been laced with some other chemical.
Really makes you feel safe doesn't it? Who knows what the hell they put in it to give you that high?
It could have been Oregano sprayed with crank for all you know.
:o)
Have a nice day

What happenned to you is actually very typical. Here's what http://www.notodrugs-yestolife.org/facts/marijuana.htm says about the short-term effects of smoking pot:
They suffer loss of coordination and distortions in their sense of time, vision and hearing. Other effects are sleepiness, reddening of the eyes, increased appetite and relaxed muscles. Heart rate can speed up. In fact, in the first hour of smoking marijuana, a user’s risk of a heart attack increases at least five-fold. School performance is reduced through impaired memory and lessened ability to solve problems.

I have heard of this, though I've heard it's rare. Also, because you don't know what's laced into it, if anything, you can be having an effect from that, too. Or, you could be paranoid while high on pot, therefore increasing the heart rate.

studies in the past said smoking pot is like smoking 6 cigarettes.I would say it would speed your heart up and coat your lungs .But then some people want to make it legal because its a drug that helps them with pain.

yes but i can t remember. sorry.
puh it is not good if theres something wrong with the heart (but do not ask me what)
source: book: das definitve deutsche hanfhandbuch.
ask a doc.
if your smoke is only marijuana or hash (clean) then the risk is not too high.
but this might happen.
if you are high over a long period (a few month or years) then this might cause irregular heartbeat.
eat some garlic misteltoe and crataegus this is good for the heart and against strokes. (misteltoe - ask doc)
strophantin is also something for the heart.
ask for something for your vessels .
Red wine or extracts out of red wine plants.
hm maybe a higher dose of thc.
but isn t this normal? sorry I really can t remember.
maybe some sports
maybe the coke (caffeine).? !
sex? fg
