I am looking for any and all assistance in healing my dog Meeshu. Prayer, good thoughts, energy.
Meeshu was attacked and suffered liver damage either from the attack or from the medication they gave him afterwards. I am scared of losing my best friend. He's like half my heart. He is in the vet on IV's here in Seattle and they just dont know if he will make it. Please help. He is strong and happy go lucky kid, full of cuddles and life.
Thank you
Heres is a link to his pics: http://home.comcast.net/~lynnae_b/meeshu.html

HI thanks for checking in. Well basically his liver values were still at 3000 (normal is 50-100) on Friday, So they kept him overnight on IV and had me take him home at the end of saterday as they are closed sunday and would have had to take him off anyways. I met a doctor there this morning and she put fluids under his skin (Sub-Q fluids). So he will be taken back in tomorrow and dropped off for another blood test to see if the levels have gone down yet. He still has his iv catheter in his leg so he will be ready to go back on fluids Monday depending on the test results. He still has an appetite and that is positive and the bite wounds covering his legs are healing, thats good too. Come Monday I will know better the status. :) thank you so very much.

Hello hello!
Meeshu is on the road to recovery. His levels have dropped quite a bit and barring something strange, he should make a full recovery. They have put him back on IV fluids for the day to help because they are still elevated, but he appears to be healing and he will come home again today only need to go back in a week to have his blood checked one more (last i hope) time.
I am so elated that i think i will have to buy him some special toys or something!
Thank you to everyone. I really and truly appreciate and am grateful for it. It made me feel better and Meeshu too.

My son Bill has a young pit bull . She is loving and obedient and so much fun. He adores her and we have come to love her to.
She was in such dire strait in such a short time that when I took her to our vet he did not even want to put her in the hospital and take our money for it.Bill would have happily spent what ever it took to keep his baby.
Sadly we brought her home to die.
however, i reminded Bill of me having survived death myself on more than one occasion when I was sent home to die. Once was over 10 years ago and the last just a few back. I reminded Him of What we did and told him animals were beloved by King David and used by the Lord on many occasions. I saw no reason not to lay hands on little Lucy and pray over her. We asked in faith and received in abundance. Lucy was back on her feet the next am and running and playing by that afternoon. We took her back to see the vet and he was amazed. He said he had never seen a recovery from that virus at that stage. Bill added another name to her. Lucky Lucy now.
I will pray for your baby. Keep us posted.
Lucky Lucy's Guardian.

I can only imagine what you are feeling,I'm a "big, tough man" but when I thought of anything happening to my iguana I had to blink back tears and breathe deep to avoid crying like a baby.I haven't prayed in years(for various reasons) but I do believe in God and I will pray for you both.

I will be praying for your baby. I have a puppy (Bobo 9years old) and he's my sanity. He loves me when the world seems to be mad at me. He always has kisses for me when I come home. Messhu is a beautiful name. I named my puppy Bobo because he looked like he was always crying. I certainly will keep both of you in my prayers. They are special gifts from God.....

I pray always for God's will to be done in our lives, Jesus was the Great Healer, and God cares for all the animals as well. We should be good stewards to this world, since we have dominion over it and the animals we live with.

You got it - Meeshu now has friends among the witches, and my puppy was attacked, too, so I understand the pain and vulnerability of your situation. Best of luck, continue to hope and believe that things will get better.

I will pray for your dog, and you must love him the way I love mine! I looked on your link, and he is such a great dog! I Have one that looks just like your black dog! I hope he will be alright, and if enough people pray for him hopefully he will be! Take care, and God bless.

I am inspired by your powerful faith; and wish to offer congratulations for allowing it to lead you to precisely the right doctor for Meeshu's healing. Doctors, too, know they can only mend; it's God that heals.
Taking it to God shows a wisdom far beyond your years.
Bless you and Meeshu!
