cherry tomatoes, peppers, onions, mushrooms, zucchini, but WHAT ELSE??

Anything that doesn't tend to fall apart when it's cooked. Also, leave the skin on. It helps hold everything together.
Try using rosemary sticks instead of wooden skewers. Make sure you soak them in water just like the wooden ones.

I'd reccommend: cherry tomatoes, red, yellow, and green pepper slices, cubes of zucchini, etc. Don't forget the olive oil, salt and pepper...and if you're grilling...try some grilled peaches...just sprinkle sugar on the cut side...and voila...yummy and good for you too!! :D

corn on the cob sliced into about 1 inch pieces is also good.
artichokes cut in forths with a little olive oil and seasoning
asparagus cut into 2 inch pieces
different squashes work well too

almost any veggie can work in the grill it may not be easy to do all of them kabod style but wrap in foil with a little olive oil and balsmic vinegar salt and pepper and they are fantastic

I've used those small canned potatoes on kabobs and they were yummy.... sounds like you've got a great start already on those kabobs.... mmmmmm!

pretty much any veggie that is relatively dense but can cook quickly...different types of squashes might be good.
