It's actually supposed to be really good for you physically. You get exercise, and your heart speeds up, which is always a good thing for your heart. Along with that, it's practice for the "big game." The only harm masturbation causes is if you have religious or spiritual beliefs that are against masturbation, yet you do it anyway.

President Bush's wife was touring a hospital.
While walking down the hall on the first floor she looked into a room and saw a man masturbating.
The nurse said it was OK he needs to do that or his balls will explode.
When walking down the hall on the sixth floor she looked into another room and saw a man receiving fellatio from a nurse.
She was very upset and asked what was going on in there,
The nurse explained it was the same problem as on the first floor he just had better health care coverage.

Harm the heart? No
But you might have to worry about carpa tunnel syndrome though. If you alternate hands every other time you can substantially reduce your risk to CTS.

Dear Dragon Heart
Masterbation does not affect your heart as a normal rule, but can do so if your penis drops off, wherby you will sustain cardiac heart failure.
I therefore trust that this answer's your medical question.

Come on guys, it is natural process. It you don't masturbate it will automatically come out.
It has nothing to do with heart, due to masturbation you sperm count increases. So don't believe all this.

If anything it would be good for it, so long as you have a healthy heart. It certainly gets the blood flowing.

No, it helps reduce stress, and it's a form of exercise, so it can only help your heart.
