My friend wants to open up a coffee and the coffee is made from poop beans. poop beans are curdled poop that has dried up over the years. my friend told me that it is a czechosvlokian traditional food but to me it sounds gross. do you think that she will succeed with her poop coffee shop?

I think it is highly disqusting personally. But I have heard that it is considered a delicacy to get the beans out of animal poop. Just another thing that people do in a culture that totally shocks your own world. Like who ever decided eating a snail would be tasty....... or for that matter who was the first person that saw an egg come out of a chickens butt and say hey I think I am gonna eat that! People just do sick things!!!!!!

I think that this is an absurd idea. With all of the coffee lovers in the world, I doubt that poop will go over well with them, I know that I would never want to try it.

My uncle used to work in a poop-curdling factory in Czechoslovakia. The coffee at the factory was free, but it was Folgers. (That may have been the mixup with your friend.)
The beans are not for coffee. They use the beans to stuff mattresses.

I think if i went there not knowing the name the type of beans i would probably like it then some asss would say its made of poop beans and i would spit it out but yeah i think she can some people drink anything tell her to make the title really close to Starbucks and then people would go there

Tell her not to play the "Beach Boys" music in her shop, I had a poop bean coffee shop and we had no customers and were out of business in a week, and I am quite sure it was because of the Beach Boy music. Yes. Quite sure.

I've heard of a type of coffee made from beans that animals eat, then excrete. The bean doesn't get digested, and after it comes out, it's supposed to have a different flavour (I'd say so!!). It's supposedly a delicacy but I wouldn't try it. So as strange as your friends idea is, it may work as long as there are people out there willing to eat excrement. Good luck to her! She'll need it....

I know that there's a bean of coffee that is taken from the poop of a bird, I think, and that's one of the most expensive coffees.

I drink about 6 pots of coffee a day and I would rather drink water than to drink a nice big cup of sh*t. And no matter how dried it is it is still sh*t. That's just plan gross!

Does not sound like a business that would draw many people in the doors. You might want to check with the local heatlh department to see if this would be legal to serve or not.
