Last night I watched that dumb movie 'Waiting' and now I'll think twice about restaurant eating. It's so sick.

No, absolutely not! The only thing I am concerned about is the taste of the food.

I saw the movie "Waiting" too. I thought it was hilarious and disgusting at the same time. I don't worry about food I order at a restaurant, but I would NEVER send a dish back for ANY reason.

Boy, do I ever worry. Don't ever send food back to the cook because they might put something in it, spit on it, or worse. The cooks are paid very little and get angry if food is sent back. I was in a cafeteria line once, and the girl serving was standing there picking a pimple! Needless to say, I left, and that cafeteria closed down about 8 months late. There need to be more regulations on the sanitary aspects of food serving and preparing.

I used to be a waiter. Now that I have a good job and can afford the good restaurants I'm extra nice to our waiters and tip them good and when I come back to a restaurant I ask for the same waiters I had last time. That way the know I'm a good tipper, treat me well, and I feel safe about my food.

Also, I make sure that I get a female waiter. Females are less likey to do gross things to your food. Plus, if a really hot, female waiter decided to take off her pants and sit in my salad...I'd kinda find that kinky.

I worked in a restaurant when I was 16. If you sent the food back, the chef got mad and sometimes, dropped it on the floor. That was many years ago and I still don't return any food for any reason. Even if I order a steak and get sushi...

I used to work at a restaurant and I gotta say, be nice to the servers because you don't know what they will do to your food. Also, McDonald's is a restaurant as well yet plenty of people still devour the trash that they call food regardless of how sanitary it looks.

yes. I worry about restaurant food every time I go because I cant forget what happened a year ago to me. I was at a jack in the box, and the person who was getting the drinks sneezed and did not bother to wash their hands. its bugged me ever since.Ughhh

Especially when the people that work at most restaraunts don't care. I was at a restaraunt a few years ago, went to the restroom to wash my hands, someone was in the stall, thet finished cane out left the restroom without washing their hands. They had an apron on, so I followed this person. It was the COOK. I told the hostess and walked out.

Yes, I worked at 2 restaurants... One fast food, and one steak house.

When the customers pissed the employees off, the employees did unspeakable things to the food.

Moral of the story: Always, I mean ALWAYS!, be nice to the help!

Having worked in several restaurants let me just say that your fears are justified. Best advice - never send back a plate of food.
