For almost the past 2 weeks, I have had what feels like pressure in my forehead, probably sinus pressure. I feel slightly off balance, startled by sudden movements, and slightly uncoordinated. I'm also experiencing some physical and mental fatigue as well as anxiety. Is this normal with sinus inflammation, or is this more likely some serious neurological disorder?

Your nose, ears and throat are all connected and a sinus infection can move into your ears. An ear infection can cause a lack of balance and coordination. I would see your doctor.

If it were neurological the onset of symptoms would not quite take two weeks, so I think you probably have a serious sinus infection. Please get to a doctor if you can and if you dont have insurance, get to a free clinic. Sinus infections can turn serious if left untreated for too long.

I once had such a severe sinus infection that I felt like I was walking in slow mode. Depending on the pressure and severty of the infection it can cause a number of problems. The fatigue could be from the fact that your body is fighting the infection and is wearing out. I would suggest going to the doc to seek out antibiotics.

A sinus infection can cause you to feel light headed and dizzy and unbalanced. A Major sinus infection left untreated can actually poison you. I would go to the dr just to have it checked out if i were you.

if it is, in fact, sinus pressure, it may be affecting your eustachian tube, which will throw off your balance (making you somewhat uncoordinated). with the physical and mental fatigue, it sounds like it may be an head cold. the other symptoms are puzzling, unless you experience such things, regularly. are you taking any medications? these may be at fault. if it persists, or worsens, seek medical attention.

i am not a doctor.
