you have HPV? It's not as simple as just telling them as soon as you meet them because that will turn them away from even getting to know you. How do I tell her now that we are moving into a relationship?

Awsome! I just found out they have a vaccine for HPV now. Its only for women right now and costs about $360 w/o insurance. I think that this will help ease her mind a little.

you need to be HONEST! explain what you have but use the word hpv. be prepaired to answer all her questions, never end with "im not sure". tell her the "p" in hpv is the same word that is in "pap". as in "pap smear". try not to use the "w" word. for all you know she could allready have it. the "W" word scares people. although you will have to use it to explain the condition. you say, "its the virus that CAN cause cirvical cancer and W****. it doesn't nessisarily mean that she WILL get it though. thats exactly why women have a "papillomavirus" test or "smear".

I would let her know but educate her as much as possible about it. 80% of people will acquire at least one strain of HPV in their life. There is no way to test for the pre-cancerous strains in men, since it doesn't produce symptoms in them. So I am assuming you have genital warts. If you got the frozen off the body will normally clear itself of the virus within 6 months to a year. Just let her know, so she can make the decision.

speaking as someone who is also positive with the HPV virus please be responsible and tell her. Just remember to take the SAFE route if she chooses to go further in the relationship.

The best thing to do is not have sex and dont tell her yet. Once your relationship becomes serious then u should tell her. This way you won't jump into sex real quick. But make sure you protect yourself so you wouldn't pass it to her.
