my choice to become vegetarian was nothing to do with the healthy lifestyle aspect it was purely because i felt so upset about the way the animals are treated. if you've ever seen footage of animals being exported live or the way they are treated when they go to get slaughtered and the utter distress in their eyes and hear them crying out then you'd have to be a very hard person not to feel that it's wrong. i know that people will never stop eating meat but i just wish they could treat the animals with more respect and don't put them through so much hell just to get them on our plate. all you non-vegetarians out there please only try to buy free range and organic meat so at least you know they have maybe had some kind of life.

I don't eat meat because it is cruel to eat anything that has eyes and I am confident in this way of life. I feel no burden going to a pet store. I also don't have to worry if I got enough this or that as far as vitamines go. Mother Nature supplies it...I am a Vegitarian and happy.

I'm a vegetarian for health, ethical, and environmental reasons. I love animals, and I don't eat the things I love.

I'm vegetarian for many reasons!

I love veggies.
I love animals, and hate they way they're tortured and killed in factory farms.
It's healthy - very healthy.
I hate the fact that there are horomones and antibiotics in meat.
And maaaaaany moooore....

i'm not sure what you mean, but the reason i'm a vegetarian is because of the fact that it's a healthier lifestyle. although you do have to go out of your way to get protein, all in all, it's a much healthier lifestyle through cutting out cholesterol and fat in meat.

My health! I have a family history or diabetes and heart problems...being a healthy vegan reduces those chances, makes me feel better and I don't feel crappy trying to digest something that my body doesn't need.
