It actually depends on what you call drinking and is it moderate, do you consume a lot.. and my doctor told me that a glass of wine will not hurt me. but more will over a period of time. check the sugar content and that will tell you... When you drink a wine cooler, within one to two hours check your sugar readings, and if you are having a hypo, it seems you would want orange juice or something to bring it up fast, or coke.. that would be a better choice than alcohol....

No, and not because it will lower ur BS. Wine coolers are packed with sugar. Don't listen to rumors about alcohol bringing down blood sugar levels.

Drinking and diabetes mix as well as drinking and driving. Can be a extremely urgent health problem so it is best to stay away from alcohol not to mention alcohol effects major organs in your body and you already have that going on.

Don`t take alcohol if you have hypoglycaemia. Because taking alcohol precipitates hypoglycaemia and causes even hypoglycaemic coma

it is not good to consume alchol of any kind, a littlle wine might not hurt your sugar level to much. notice i said a little.
