i didn't get to do anything for my sweet 16th birthday, and my 17th birtday is coming up and i need some ideas as to what i should do.

Costume parties are the best.get everyone to dress up in something for example:favorite celebrity, or someone out of a movie perhaps, all you need is a theme.

Maybe have an 80's party...have everyone come dressed up for the 80's era (scary I know) and play 80's music...
Or a luau is always fun - I did that for my twins when they turned 18..hey don't laugh, it was a hit...I made rum punch, they did the limbo, we had a bonfire, and a DJ and even did a pig-roast...the kids (and adults) loved it...

i think that you should just invite your closest friends(all of them) and and just got o the mall and shop and try on stuff. go get a facial..or you can invite like everyone you know, and throw a party at your house with dancing and just whatever you want! i think either would be really fun!
